This project was for the mother of a friend.

The ground floor of the house is a car park and the living area is located on the first floor.

The client wanted to open her house and living room to the garden without having to go through her car park.

The budget for this project was extremely tight, it was barely just enough to by the supplies so we decide to build the design ourselves with the help of a couple of friends. 

The idea was to create a simple balcony that could bring shade to the garden and be an extension of the living room into the garden. This project was a great first building experience.
