costa valerio [architecture+landscape]

This project is located in the XVIIIth district  in Paris in an area located between the two main nothern parisian traintracks. 

The project is for a family of four that had just bought the floor above their appartment. 

The idea was to create an extra space in the small courtyard to link the bottom and top floor. 

Through the materialities of this simple  extension the idea is to create a dialogue with the context whilst expressing the seperation between the old building and the recent creation.   

This project between renovation and extension brings up a lot of questions: density, continuity, integration...
