Reclaiming The Coast
[Roquebrune, Alpes Maritimes]
2020
Professors: L. Beaudouin, C. Faivre
The project is located at the tip of the Cape Martin on the Mediterranean coast.
The idea is to transform the old and partly destroyed sports complex of a 19th century Grand Hotel into a public space.
The design tries to find the balance between a light and poetic intervention in this fragile environment and the necessity of engraving a public complex in time and space through use and imagination.
The design is like a work of acupuncture in the landscape where the different pavilions and scenes are organised using the cinematographic method of the story-board.
